Transforming A Smile
We smile when we feel good about life...good about ourselves. If we don't like the way we look, we don't smile as much—that's a fact of life! Dave knew that having a great looking smile would make a difference in the quality of his life so he asked Dr. Gorman to make it happen.

Dave's case was complex due to the large gaps created from missing teeth. Dr. Gorman not only had the cosmetic expertise and experience; but, most importantly the vision to transform Dave's smile.
- First, orthodontics was utilized to better distribute tooth positions to enhance the ability to provide the necessary restorative and aesthetic care.
- Second, an implant was strategically placed in the largest gap to replace a key tooth and act as a major pillar of strength for adjacent replacement bridges.
- Finally, the aesthetic restorations were put in place. Three porcelain fused to metal bridges were permanently placed to restore missing teeth. All restorations were meticulously matched to the color of Dave's naturally bright, white teeth.
Transforming A Life
Dr. Gorman won the Smile Gallery competition, not just for technical excellence, but also because of the case's complexity. Of major importance was placement of the implant. And even though this permanent tooth is in a major area of stress (corner canine), it is still as solid as a rock. Now Dave has a ready smile and is no longer self-conscious as with his former smile.
