The L.D. Pankey Institute, located in Key Biscayne, Florida, has for decades held the reputation for having the most advanced comprehensive care studies continuum. Their mission is to "bridge the gap between what is known in dental studies, research and experience and what is practiced by comprehensive-oriented dental practitioners." Dr. Gorman completed continuums over several years covering myofacial pain, dysfunction, occlusion (dental bite studies), periodontics, practice management, fixed prosthodontics (tooth replacement), aesthetics, oral medicine, and oral diagnosis.

The Center for Advanced Dental Studies in St. Petersburg, Florida is highly renowned for advanced comprehensive dental care and craniomandibular function studies. Dr. Gorman completed a series of courses involving removable prosthodontics (tooth replacement), temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, myofacial pain dysfunction and occlusion (dental bite studies).

The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies in Las Vegas, Nevada is highly regarded worldwide in contemporary esthetic restorative dental studies. The institute's mission is to "set the standards for excellence." Dr. Gorman has taken coursework in the areas of dental esthetics, practice management and dental occlusion (dental bite studies).

Dr. Gorman has taken many hands-on courses involving case planning, implementation and restoration of dental implants involving all major systems available in the marketplace.

AACD Dentist

As an extremely active AACD dentist, and member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), Dr. Gorman regularly attends their exciting annual International meetings where the "best of the best" come together to share the latest in cosmetic dentistry. The AACD is the largest organization in the world both studying and promoting excellence in the art and science of cosmetic dentistry.

As a member of the True North Study Club, part of the Seattle Study Club Network, Dr. Gorman studies with the best in the areas of implant dentistry and esthetic restorative dentistry emphasizing a team approach utilizing multi-disciplinary treatment planning. His network of specialist colleagues are all highly regarded in their areas of discipline.

Dr. Gorman takes advantage of his memberships and affiliations with the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and as an alumnus of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry to keep abreast of developments in all areas of dentistry. He also attends local courses regularly offered at the Amara Institute, located in Stillwater, Minnesota.
