Licensed and Certified Dental Assistant
Jessica graduated in 1996 with an Associate of Arts degree. She went on to complete the Dental Assisting Program in 1997, during which time she served as president of the Vocational Industrial Club of America. According to Jessica, she has always been deeply committed to education for the betterment of herself and her patients.
Jessica worked in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry for 7 years. She has extensive knowledge and training in advanced multidisciplinary surgical full mouth reconstruction and cosmetic tooth replacement. Jessica has also worked in cosmetic dentistry for a number of years and is very knowledgeable in the process of helping clients achieve beautiful, healthy and natural smiles.
“I feel fortunate to have worked and learned from talented clinicians over the years. This has given me a rich understanding of periodontics, implant and cosmetic dentistry, and the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to case planning. By doing so we can ultimately deliver the most beautiful and healthy smile possible.”
“I am committed to enhancing our clients’ experience while they are in our office. I want people to leave our office happy they saw and worked with me. I feel the utmost pride in being a part of this team. The Gorman Center provides an environment in which I can serve our clients to the highest level possible.”
In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her daughter and taking long walks in their St. Paul neighborhood. She also enjoys reading, traveling, trying new restaurants and spending time with friends.
Julie began working at The Gorman Center in November 2000. As executive administrator, her goal is to make everything we do here exceptional.
After graduating with an Associate in Business from Eau Claire Technical College in 1981, Julie began traveling around the country and landed in Scottsdale, Ariz., where she began her career in hospitality and worked in many positions with several large companies, primarily the Marriott Corporation. After nine years in Arizona, she returned to the Midwest and went back to school at Lakewood Community College and changed careers.
Julie and a friend started a company called First Impressions, which provided new construction and model-home cleaning. While she enjoyed the challenges of owning her own company, the desire to travel stirred yet again, and after several years the company was sold. Julie became an Independent Trip Director, working with several incentive travel companies throughout the country and in Minneapolis. She was responsible for taking clients on all-inclusive vacations, becoming the liaison between the resorts, airlines and destination management companies.
Julie began working in dentistry in 1998. She worked for a multi-doctor practice with several locations. It was there that she decided she loved dentistry and how it helped change lives. She began to search for a higher level of excellence with a relationship-building practice, which is what she has found with Dr. Gorman and the team at The Gorman Center for Fine Dentistry.
“What I find amazing is that I’ve found a doctor committed to making his employees the best they can be, both professionally and personally.” Education, training and new technology implementations are ongoing at the Gorman Center, which keep her career exciting and challenging.
In Julie’s spare time she enjoys reading, working out, taking walks, yoga, running in her Vadnais Heights neighborhood, biking and any outdoor sport. Julie spends additional time traveling with her husband, Don, as well as volunteering with him on weekends at church, while leading her Bible study group.

Connie’s love for cosmetic dentistry began after she had a positive experience as a new patient in a very modern dental office years ago, motivating her to choose Dental Hygiene as a career. After graduating from the University of Minnesota in 1980, she returned to that office as both patient and employee. “I’m thankful for the doctors and staff who ignited my love for cosmetic dentistry.”
Connie joined the staff here at the Gorman Center for Fine Dentistry in 1990. She serves multiple roles involving long-term administrative projects. “To capture a client’s smile in photography is one of my great passions. Working with an expert team allows us to share images of amazing smile transformations.” She is very proud that all the photography from the Gorman Center is of our patients.
Connie and her husband, Dr. Steve Gorman, were married in 1988 and have three grown daughters. Emily, like her dad, is a graduate of The University of Notre Dame. She resides in Seattle and enjoys her marketing career. Anna is a Graduate of Bethel University and is a graduate student at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California.
