Smile Makeovers: The Full Road Map

Smile Makeover: The Full Road Map

No smile is a lost cause.

Of course, the journey to that picture-perfect smile isn’t always easy – but it’s definitely worth the effort.

More often than not, one or two cosmetic treatments are all you need.

But, at times, you need a complete smile makeover to get there.

What’s a smile makeover, you ask?

It’s using multiple cosmetic techniques to form one flawless smile.

Also known as smile design, a smile makeover is an umbrella term that covers just about every cosmetic dentistry treatment in the book. These treatments include:

The goal, as you can guess from the name, is to turn any smile – no matter how far gone – into a perfect beam.

Regardless of whether you need one little fix, or for us to throw the entire stack at the problem, we always arrive at a beautiful smile nonetheless.

So, let’s see how each of these treatments contributes to a full smile makeover, shall we?

Teeth whitening

Teeth whitening is the quickest, most surefire way to improve any smile, be it an already gorgeous beam or a sorry grin.

Using the latest teeth-whitening tech, we not only brighten your teeth permanently but also reduce tooth sensitivity.

At the same time, the special whitening trays ensure more intense whitening compared to other systems.

Teeth whitening advantages include:

  • The quickest way to remove discoloration, stains, and bacteria;
  • Hides imperfections & makes you look more youthful;
  • Affordable & non-invasive treatment.

Invisalign

Technically speaking, Invisalign® is the brand name behind the most prominent clear aligners on the market. They’re thin, near-transparent brackets made from a flexible thermoplastic material named SmartTrack.

Not unlike traditional braces, Invisalign aligners are prescribed to fix:

  • 🦷 Overcrowding;
  • 🦷 Large gaps between teeth;
  • 🦷 Crossbite, overbite, or underbite issues.

Using 3D imagery, we create multiple customized plastic aligners. These aligners apply pressure to your teeth, gradually shifting them into place.

And, just like that, we’re able to achieve that picture-perfect smile without resorting to traditional clunky braces!

Invisalign’s advantages include:

  • They’re easily removable, so you can eat, brush your teeth, and floss whenever you want;
  • They’re practically invisible to the naked eye, so you can rock these aligners without anyone noticing them;
  • They’re much more comfortable than traditional metal braces because they come without pokey wires (many people forget they’re even wearing them).

Porcelain veneers

Porcelain veneers are carefully-shaped, micro-thin porcelain restorations that adhere to your teeth’s front side. They’re custom-made shells that both improve the appearance of your teeth and protect them from stains and abrasions.

Also known as Hollywood teeth, porcelain veneers give you that flawless smile that you see in movies and magazines.

Porcelain veneers can solve many cosmetic problems. These include:

  • 🦷 Misaligned teeth;
  • 🦷 Chipped teeth;
  • 🦷 Gapped teeth;
  • 🦷 Stained teeth;
  • 🦷 And more.

Besides cosmetic benefits, they can also provide or restore proper bite function in the front teeth.

Porcelain veneers’ advantages include:

  • Strong, durable, and resistant to stains & abrasions;
  • Looks beautifully white yet 100% natural;
  • Acts as a shield and protects teeth from stimuli, reducing tooth sensitivity;
  • Helps align teeth without braces;
  • Ensures a uniformly white appearance.

Dental implants

Dental implants are replacement tooth roots – it’s as simple as that. They’re artificial teeth that are made to look and feel just like natural teeth.

There are three parts to a dental implant:

  • 🦷 Crown (visible);
  • 🔩 Abutment;
  • 🔩 Titanium post.

The synthetic post is placed into the jaw to replicate a natural tooth root. The post is then topped with an abutment and a custom-made crown to restore your smile’s function and look.

And, by the way, dental implants don’t just look and feel right – they also easily last a lifetime (with good care).

Dental implants’ advantages include:

  • They look 100% natural, matching your natural teeth both in look and feel;
  • They protect your existing teeth, keeping those teeth from shifting;
  • They’re the most secure and reliable dental restoration!
