Meet the Specialist Behind Your Smile

Dr. Lexi Lippe is an aesthetic prosthodontist, a specialty that goes beyond cosmetic dentistry to focus on complex smile restoration, bite balance, and long-term oral health. Her advanced training allows her to design veneers that do more than improve appearance. Each treatment is planned to support how your teeth function together and how your oral health affects the rest of your body.

With a special focus on full mouth reconstruction, Dr. Lippe approaches veneers as part of a larger system. She evaluates tooth wear, gum health, jaw alignment, and bite forces before recommending treatment. This level of analysis helps ensure veneers look natural, feel comfortable, and last.

Dr. Lippe is also known for her patient-centered approach. She spends time educating patients and explaining recommendations so you understand not just what she suggests, but why. Many North Oaks patients appreciate this clarity, especially when investing in porcelain veneers.

To achieve the highest level of detail, Dr. Lippe works closely with Edgar Jimenez, a master ceramist accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Their collaboration ensures veneers are custom-crafted to complement your facial features and surrounding teeth for results that feel authentic and refined.

Veneers by Experts  In Aesthetic Prosthodontists and Ceramics

Veneers by Dr. Lexi Lippe can cover minor dental imperfections and give your smile dazzling symmetry. Dr. Lippe works with a master ceramist whose work is indistinguishable from natural teeth. In just three visits to our North Oaks office, you can realize a whole new smile with veneers!

A Brighter Smile in 3 Appointments The Veneer Process From Start to Finish

You’ll first complete a consultation with Dr. Lippe. We'll also make sure to provide a teeth cleaning. If you decide to move forward with treatment, it will involve three appointments and these steps:

“Every patient undergoes a ‘dental physical’ to assess their teeth, gums, and jaws. We'll get to know your smile better than anyone so you can get the most from our care.”
“Every patient undergoes a ‘dental physical’ to assess their teeth, gums, and jaws. We'll get to know your smile better than anyone so you can get the most from our care.”

Tooth Prep

During your first appointment, Dr. Lippe will prepare each tooth you wish to treat by removing a small amount of enamel from the front surface. She will then take impressions of your teeth and send them to our master ceramist.

Shade Match

You will work with Dr. Lippe to choose a shade for your temporary veneers. We prioritize your preferences and work closely with you to find a shade that complements your natural look or achieves a slightly whiter, more radiant appearance. Dr. Lippe will then place your temporary veneers.

Veneer Adjustment

After you’ve had time to wear your temporaries for a few days, Dr. Lippe will invite you back to our office so we can discuss your satisfaction with the look of your veneers and make adjustments as needed.

Final Veneers

In about two to three weeks, your final veneers will be finished and you can return to our office for placement. Dr. Lippe will check the fit and color of your veneers before bonding them in place.

Are Veneers
Right for You?

Veneers can dramatically enhance your smile, but they’re not a one-size-fits-all solution. At The Gorman Center in North Oaks, MN, Dr. Lexi Lippe takes time to evaluate your goals, oral health, and the long-term impact of treatment before recommending this option.

You may be a strong candidate for porcelain veneers if you have:

  • Chips, cracks, or minor wear
  • Uneven edges or slight misalignment
  • Gaps between teeth
  • Intrinsic stains that don’t respond to whitening
  • A smile that lacks symmetry or balance

Before placing veneers, Dr. Lippe will assess your enamel, bite alignment, and gum health to make sure your foundation is strong. If veneers aren’t ideal for your needs, she’ll explain why and suggest other options that may achieve your goals more predictably or conservatively.

For patients who qualify, veneers offer a high-impact transformation. Dr. Lippe will work with you to choose the right shape, size, and shade for your features, and ensure that your new smile supports your confidence and comfort.

FAQ About Veneers in North Oaks, MN

What are veneers?

Dental veneers are carefully shaped restorations that are applied to the front surfaces of your teeth to change their appearance in terms of shape, size, color, or length. They conceal concerns like chips, cracks, gaps, misalignment, and discoloration. Porcelain veneers are extremely durable and more resistant to abrasion and stains than natural enamel.

Are porcelain veneers permanent?

Once your teeth have been prepped for veneers, they will always require some sort of restoration, meaning veneers are a permanent and irreversible procedure. The veneers themselves can last 10-15 years or longer when cared for properly.

How do I take care of veneers?

Brush at least twice a day, floss at least once a day, and visit our office for routine teeth cleanings and checkups. Avoid hard or sticky foods that could damage your veneers or pull them out of place. Avoid foods that could stain your natural enamel and make your smile less uniform. Don’t use your teeth as tools.
